Under the Single National Curriculum, school-based assessment tests will be taken from Grade I to Grade VIII students, studying in public schools from March 5 in Lahore, reported City42 on Tuesday.

Examinations results will be announced on March 31, while the new academic year will start on April 1.

Question papers for the exam will be provided by the authorities. 

‘Islamiat’ test will be conducted from Muslim students, while Ethics tests will be taken from non-Muslim students.

The oral examination will be taken from first to second-grade children.

Written and objective papers will be taken from children from classes III to VIII.

Meanwhile, papers of Urdu, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Sciences will be taken in the written examination.
