Dar meets Saudi Deputy FM; both sides vow closer cooperation through OIC

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar held a meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed bin Abdul Kareem Al-Khuraiji in Jeddah on the sidelines of the 22nd Extraordinary Session of the OIC.

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to further strengthen the strategic partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. 

The two delegations highlighted the importance of expanding bilateral cooperation across political, economic, and security domains.

The two sides also reaffirmed their resolve to continue close coordination at the platform of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). 

They emphasised that stronger collective efforts were essential for promoting peace, stability, and security in the region.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia expressed confidence that their ongoing collaboration would contribute to greater unity within the Muslim world and help address shared regional challenges.
