Dedicated medical dispensary to be established at Punjab Assembly Secretariat

In a significant step to improve healthcare services, the Punjab Assembly Secretariat has decided to establish a permanent and dedicated dispensary within the Assembly premises.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the dispensary will be accessible to members of the Punjab Assembly, officers, staff, and visitors, ensuring timely and quality medical assistance on-site.

According to the decision, a medical officer, nursing staff, and paramedical personnel will be appointed at the facility. 

The dispensary will provide first aid, routine medical treatment, and emergency care, while the availability of essential medicines and medical equipment will also be ensured.

Officials say the establishment of the dispensary will enable a prompt medical response during emergencies within the Assembly building.

The concerned department has been directed to complete all administrative and financial formalities required for the setup.
