Lady Police Constable arrested in Larkana for drug possession

A lady police constable was arrested on charges of possessing illegal drugs in Larkana, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday. 

According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ahmed Faisal Chaudhry, the constable has been suspended and a case registered against her at the Women's Police Station.

He said that during a raid at the accused Nazia Korai's residence last night, 150 grams of “ice” were recovered from her possession.

The accused's mother, Farzana, was also arrested for keeping over two kilograms (2100 grams) of Charas. 

Nazia Korai used her police job and uniform as a cover to supply drugs across various districts of Sindh province.

She can be seen smoking charas in a video.

During the initial interrogation, it is revealed that she has been working for a drug mafia, against whom actions are also ongoing.
