Court reserves ruling on Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s acquittal plea
A district and sessions court in Islamabad on Friday reserved its verdict on a petition filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi for his acquittal in the May 9 riots case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Judicial Magistrate Shehzad Khan heard the case. Advocate Ali Bokhari represented PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi in the court.
In his arguments, Advocate Ali Bokhari said that the court acquitted several accused in this case on March 8, 2025.
He said that Shah Mehmood Qureshi is facing charges that PTI founder conveyed to him through a video message to create a law and order situation.
