An AirBlue flight escaped a disaster on Saturday when it was hit by strong winds while landing at Peshawar Airport, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

AirBlue flight PA-602 coming from Karachi to Peshawar as the powerful winds disturbed the plane’s balance but the pilot demonstrated his skills and instead of continuing the landing he took the plane again to higher level to avoid the storm.

The flight captain also immediately contacted the Air Traffic Controller and with utmost professionalism, he later managed to land the plane at the Peshawar International Airport.

The incident spread fear among passengers.

The captain responding to the emergency situation managed to take the plane higher at a time when the plane became unbalanced while landing.
