Bird hit aborts SereneAir flight after 10 minutes

SereneAir flight, heading from Lahore to Dubai, escaped a major disaster on Saturday when the pilot had to turn back and make an emergency landing at Allama Iqbal International Airport after it was hit by a bird not long after its take-off, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Sources told 24News TV channel, private airline’s flight ER-723, which had departed at 1:10 PM, was hit by a bird when it was only 10 minutes into the air and was flying over Okara city. 

The moment the plane came into contact with the bird, sources explained, it lost balance, prompting the pilot to divert the flight back to Lahore Airport. 

All the passengers were safely offloaded from the plane after it touched down at the airport.
