Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman met with veteran politician and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain at his residence in Islamabad on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Both the leaders discussed the overall political situation of the country, and agreed to continue to work in harmony with each other ‘for the progress and prosperity of the country’.  

They also concurred to continue to meet with each other in future as well. 

Matters related to the federal budget also came under discussion at the meeting. 

Fazl and Shujaat expressed the optimism that the coalition government would resolve the issues confronting the people. 

They also held the last government of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) responsible for the economic plight of the country. 

JUI-F Central Secretary General Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri was also present on the occasion.
