Pakistan national cricket team veteran all-rounder Shoaib Malik said he is inspired by former president retired Gen Pervez Musharraf.

Taking to his Twitter account, the star-studded cricketer said: “I have nothing but immense respect for you”.

Malik said: “You are a true leader and inspiration to me including me”, adding that a brave soldier and son of the soil.

Malik said: “In this time of difficulty, may Almighty Allah ease your pain and that of your family @P_Musharraf”.

It is pertinent to note that the reports which were circulated, relating to the death of Musharraf was rubbished by the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) yesterday.
