Passengers on a PIA flight got really upset when they were served with just vegetable and lentils minus any chicken dish on the flight to Jeddah from Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday. 

The PIA passengers got furious with the airlines for its ‘unsavory’ menu which lacked any meaty item especially the traditional chicken qorma on its flight to Jeddah. 

After receiving complaint by the fumed passengers, a PIA spokesperson clarified that the airlines food supplier had failed to supply chicken. Only one PIA flight which was going to Jeddah did not have chicken curry in its menu, the spokesperson said adding that the problem was sorted immediately and now everything was normal.

The spokesman further said now the national flag carrier was providing food on the flights as per the menu.
