Former Punjab chief minister Pervaiz Elahi underwent various tests in the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) after his health deteriorated in Lahore’s camp jail, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

He was shifted to the hospital due to a heart problem. After medical treatment at the hospital, he was shifted back to the camp jail.

A heavy police force remained deployed around the hospital during Pervaiz Elahi’s medical treatment.
