First Hajj flight carrying 340 Hajis lands at Islamabad Airport

The first Hajj flight of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) carrying 340 Hajis landed at New Islamabad International Airport (NIIA) from Jeddah early Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Islamabad Airport manager Aftab Gilani said that flight PK-732 landed at the NIIA at 03:12 am.

Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhary welcomed the Hajis at the airport. Ministry of Religious Affairs Additional Director and Director Haj were also present on the occasion.

Airport manager further said that post-Hajj operation will continue till July 10, 2025.

Aftab Gilani said that Hajis from Madinah will start arriving after one week.

He said that more than 30,000 Hajis will arrive at NIIA and all necessary measures have already been put in place.
