PTI leaders flay Govt for ignoring farmers in budget 

PTI leader Sheikh Waqas Akram has said that the government has rejected federal budget for ignoring farmers. 

Addressing press conference with Opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Ahmed Khan Bhachar and Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Sheikh Waqas said due to poor policies, growth in agriculture sector is going down. 

He demanded of the government to provide fertilizers and tractors to the famers on subsided rates. PTI leader said cotton production has decreased by 34pc, corn production has decreased by 14percent and wheat production also registered decline. He said PTI has rejected this budget which is anti-farmers and anti-public. 

Opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Ahmed Khan Bhachar said the government of uncle and niece is hurting famers. He said in Punjab agriculture department is being abolished. 

He said the cultivation of cotton has dropped 55pc. He flayed Punjab Government which has no cash worth 375 billion rupees to buy wheat from farmers.

Sahibzada Hamid Raza said land mafia was given relief in the federal budget. He lamented that the federal and Punjab government was not paying attention to the woes of the farmers.
