CNF raids residence linked to Punjab minister's family, arrests two suspects
The Counter Narcotics Force (CNF) conducted a raid in Pasin village on Thursday at the residence of the maternal uncle of Punjab Minister for Social Welfare and Baitul Maal Sohail Shaukat Butt, arresting two suspects during an operation against an alleged drug network, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to sources, CNF personnel carried out the operation on the basis of a tip-off and detained two individuals identified as Waqar and Shaukat.
Officials said the operation targeted suspected narcotics-related activities in the area, with several sensitive locations also searched during the raid.

During the operation, an alleged heated exchange took place between Minister Sohail Shaukat Butt and CNF officials. A video purportedly showing the verbal confrontation later surfaced on social media.
Sources said a heavy contingent of the Counter Narcotics Force cordoned off the area and completed the search operation despite resistance at the site.
The detained suspects were taken into custody for questioning, while investigators continued efforts to determine the extent of the alleged narcotics network.
CNF officials maintained that the operation was conducted in accordance with the law and said a formal investigation had been launched into the matter.
