PTI leaders leave Adiala Jail without meeting party founder
Several leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf left Adiala Jail on Thursday after they were unable to meet the party founder despite arriving for a scheduled visit.
According to party sources, the allotted time for the meeting expired without permission being granted for the leaders to meet the incarcerated PTI founder.
As a result, all party leaders who had arrived at the jail for the meeting left the premises without seeing him.
Those who came to Adiala Jail included Members of the National Assembly Mian Fayyaz Hussain, Hassan Joya and Qazi Imran. Raja Usman Ghazanfar also arrived at the jail for the scheduled meeting.
Sources said one of the party leaders included on the list of visitors, Jam Amanullah, did not arrive for the meeting.
The development comes amid continuing efforts by PTI leaders to hold consultations with the party founder, who remains incarcerated at Adiala Jail in connection with multiple legal cases.
