Media Joint Action Committee meets Speaker PA Parvez Elahi

Key members of the Media Joint Action Committee Friday called on the Speaker Punjab Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Federal Minister for Water Resources Moonis Elahi to discuss issues faced by the media fraternity, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In the meeting, the members from Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE), All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) and the Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA) and the Association of Electronic Media Editors and News Directors (AEMEND) were present in meeting with Pervaiz Elahi and Moonis Elahi in Islamabad.

The members of the PBA have pointed out their reservations to the top leadership of PML-Q.

In the meeting, top-notch journalists including Shakeel Masood, Mian Aamir Mehmood (Dunya TV), Mir Ibrahim (Jang Group), Kazim Khan (Group President of Daily Times), Ijaz ul Haq (Express Group), Muhammad Malik (Hum TV), Syed Sarmad Ali (Geo Group), Azhar Abbas, Hafiz Tariq Mehmood (News One) were present in the meeting.
