Investigation report surfaced: Armaghan tells secrets of Mustafa's murder

The investigation report in the Mustafa Aamir murder case has surfaced, revealing shocking details about what happened that night and how Mustafa was killed, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

According to the investigation report, the prime suspect, Armaghan, had a childhood friend named Sheraz. On New Year's Eve, Armaghan hosted a party at his bungalow, where boys and girls were present. Sheraz attended the party between 12 and 3 am, but Mustafa did not show up.

Before the party, a girl named Zoma, also known as Olivia, visited Armaghan’s bungalow. However, an argument broke out between them, leading Zoma to leave the premises angrily. The next day (Jan 2), a personal dispute between Armaghan and Mustafa escalated into a heated conflict.

On January 5, Armaghan called Zoma and Shiraz to his bungalow. He then brutally assaulted Zoma with an iron rod, leaving her injured. Armaghan booked an online taxi for her, instructing her to get medical treatment but warning her not to take legal action by threatening her with a bullet.

The next day, on January 6, Armaghan called Sheraz to his bungalow, where they consumed drugs together. That night, at around 9 pm, Mustafa arrived at Armaghan’s house after informing his friend Nauman on a mobile phone call. An argument erupted between Armaghan and Mustafa, during which Armaghan attacked Mustafa with an iron rod. Shiraz assisted in the assault, stripping Mustafa of his clothes before tying his hands and feet with a white sheet. They then dragged him down the stairs.

Mustafa’s car was parked at Armaghan’s bungalow, so the culprits stuffed his body into the trunk and drove towards Hub. Meanwhile, two workers (housekeepers) were ordered to clean the bloodstains from the crime scene. Armaghan kept Mustafa’s clothes, mobile phone, and internet device. Since Mustafa’s car had little fuel, Armaghan also took a petrol can from his bungalow. On the way, they discarded Mustafa’s belongings, including dresses and a mobile phone.

At 4:30 am, they reached Hub, doused the car with petrol, and set it on fire. After committing the crime, Armaghan and Sheraz began their journey back to Karachi on foot. They stopped at a roadside hotel for breakfast but fled when the hotel owner noticed Armaghan’s gun. They walked for nearly three hours before hitching rides with different vehicles to reach Karachi.

A few days later, Mustafa’s mother asked Armaghan about her son’s whereabouts on a mobile phone call. Sensing suspicion, Armaghan and Sheraz fled to Islamabad, where Armaghan’s vehicle was already parked. Using this car, they later returned to Karachi on February 6, three days before the police raided his bungalow.

As police approached his house on February 9, Armaghan spotted them on his CCTV cameras and opened fire. After a prolonged standoff, the police managed to arrest him. During the raid, authorities recovered hidden weapons and other evidence from the bungalow based on Armaghan’s disclosures.

The report also revealed that Armaghan had been involved in smuggling drugs from abroad. In 2019, a customs case was registered against him, but he secured bail. He also has multiple criminal cases filed against him at the Gizri, Clifton, Darakhshan, and Boat Basin police stations.

Investigators found that Armaghan operated a call center in his bungalow in Khayaban-e-Momin, employing 30 to 40 young men and women. The bungalow was guarded by 30 to 35 security personnel and three illegal lion cubs. His monthly income is reportedly in the millions, and he is known for drug abuse.
