Drug Testing Lab report finds four key drugs substandard

A Drug Testing Lab report has found four important medicines as substandard, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

According to the report, Ondasave (Ondansetron) oral solution used for treating nausea and vomiting was found to be substandard because Ethylene Glycol content in Ondasave oral solution was found to be above the limit.

Moreover, antibiotic injection SporeX was also found to be substandard and adulterated.

Similarly, vitamin injection Nucobal was also found to be substandard in lab test and Dexamethasone injection Nudex was also found to be adulterated and substandard during laboratory test.

Immediate removal of the above batch of four medicines from the market has been ordered.
