A man tortured his wife and children allegedly for not allowing him to contract second marriage in Gujranwala, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The accused is identified as Imtiaz, who has six daughters and two sons, and in the video circulating on social media, he can be seen torturing his wife and children. He also inflicted a severe injury on the head of his wife.

It is learnt that the accused has been subjecting his wife and children to violence for two years.

On the other hand, Ahmednagar police have refused to act against the accused whose wife Bushra Bibi told the media that he wanted to evict them from the house with the help of police.

“Where will I go with eight children?” she said, adding that she did not expect justice from the local police.

She demanded that the Gujranwala city police officer (CPO) take notice of it.
