Maulana Fazlur Rehman called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to discuss the situation that emerged after the Supreme Court's decision on Imran Khan's release in the NAB case in Islamabad on Thursday.
Both the leaders expressed concern over the Supreme Court's decision of Imran Khan's arrest as illegal.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman informed the PM about his strong reservations regarding the SC's decision and discussed his protest strategy for tomorrow (Friday).
The sources said PM Shehbaz Sharif also contacted the heads of other coalition parties of his government.

Later, Maulana Fazlur Rehman also chaired his part, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) core committee meeting and chalked out the strategy of Friday's protest against the Supreme Court in Islamabad.

Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, Maulana Asad Mehmood, Akram Khan Durrani and other members of the JUI core committee participated in the meeting.
