The renowned anchor who mostly supports the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Imran Riaz has been arrested from the Sialkot Airport, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday. 

According to media reports, Imran Riaz was flying to Muscat from the Sialkot Airport when the FIA offloaded him from the plane and handed him over to the police. 

The anchor has been shifted to an unknown place by the police. 

However, police has not released any statement regarding Imran Riaz’s arrest. 

The authorities have already arrested top leaders of the PTI including Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Fawad Chaudhry, Asad Umar, Umar Safraz Cheema and others.
