150 international and national flights cancelled countrywide

Although Pakistan and India have agreed to a ceasefire following days of heightened tensions, flight schedules across Pakistan remain severely disrupted, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

Despite visible improvement in the airspace situation, a total of 150 flights were cancelled nationwide today, causing distress among passengers and adding to logistical woes. Among these, 138 were international flights, while several others are facing uncertain delays.

Key breakdown of cancelled flights including 45 at Karachi Airport, 40 at Islamabad Airport, 38 at Lahore Airport, 10 at Multan Airport, 11 at Peshawar Airport and six at Sialkot Airport.
 
According to airport authorities, although airspace remains open, lingering aircraft unavailability, operational backlogs, and residual tension from recent aggression have delayed a full return to normal flight schedules.
