Amber Heard welcomes twins, says her family is now complete
Actress Amber Heard has welcomed twins, expanding her family and celebrating a joyful new chapter as a mother of three.
The Aquaman star, who is already mom to 4-year-old daughter Oonagh Paige, confirmed the news through a spokesperson, who told People magazine: “Amber is delighted to welcome the twins and complete her family. Mama and babies are enjoying every minute. And Oonagh is happily running the show.”
Rumours of Heard expecting a second child began circulating in December 2024, with sources saying she was excited to grow her family. The actress, 38, has previously spoken about choosing motherhood on her own terms. When announcing Oonagh’s birth in 2021, she wrote: “I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalised to not want a ring in order to have a crib.”
Heard, who has not publicly identified the father or method of conception, has remained private about her personal life in recent years. Since her high-profile legal battle with ex-husband Johnny Depp concluded in 2022, she has been living in Spain with Oonagh, embracing a quieter life.
In a 2022 interview with NBC’s Savannah Guthrie, Heard reflected on the calm that followed the trial, saying, “I get to be a mom, like, full time… where I’m not having to juggle calls with lawyers.”
Now, with her family “complete,” Heard begins a new chapter as a mother of three, prioritising motherhood and privacy while continuing to live abroad.
