Notorious dacoit shot dead in Mian Channu police encounter

One dacoit was killed, and two of his colleagues escaped from the scene during a police encounter in Mian Channu, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to the details, police received credible information through phone that three dacoits established a blockade and were busy looting people near Lal Chowk on early morning Sunday.
Soon after receiving the report, a police party of Saddar Mian Channu Police Station rushed to the site.
After taking notice of the police party, dacoits started firing on them. In retaliation, the police team also opened fire on them. 
During a heavy exchange of firing, one dacoit was killed and two of his companions fled the area. The dead dacoit was later identified as Kazim, son of Mata Lori, resident of 28/14.
Later, the police team shifted the dead body of the dacoit to Tehsil Headquarter Hospital (THQ) Mian Channu. 
The dead dacoit was involved in various criminal cases were registered against him in Saddar Mian Channu, Saddar Mian Channu, and Shah Kot Police Station.
District Police Officer (DPO) Ismail Kharak directs to take all measures to apprehend the culprits.
