Two drug peddlers die in Lahore police encounter

Two drug peddlers were gunned down during a police encounter in Lahore, reported 24News HD TV Channel on Monday.
The police encounter took place in the Defence Phase 9 area of Lahore. Police said that both accused were real brothers.
Police said that after receiving credible information, the CCD team raided the location to arrest the accused, but after taking notice of the CCD team, some accomplices of the accused started firing on the CCD team.
Police said that both accused were involved in supplying ice, opium, and other drugs to the students around universities and hospitals.
Both accused were later identified as Sajjad and Sajid. Later, the CCD team shifted the dead bodies to the mortuary for autopsy.
