The cricket fever has gripped the foreign diplomats in Pakistan as the US Embassy in Islamabad asked its staffers which side they are supporting in today’s high-voltage game between Pakistan and Australia and everyone got cricket on their mind and answer, ‘Go Team Pakistan’.

The US Embassy in Islamabad tweeted, “We asked members of our community which team they are rooting for this week, and U.S. Embassy Islamabad has a clear favourite! Did we even have to ask Thinking face?
On the other hand, German Ambassador to Pakistan Bernhard Schlagheck said that excited to welcome you all to our Eco Cinema event in Islamabad.
“Join us in F-9 Park from 3 pm for a family afternoon of games, food, and a film screening surrounding the importance of sustainable behaviour & the climate crisis we all face. See you there,” the envoy added. The German consul general has opted to support Pakistani cricket team in their semi-final clash with Australia today.
