The opposition’ joint strategy is bearing fruit, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto said on Wednesday. He was talking to the media after the dinner he hosted for the opposition leaders.
The opposition formulated a consensus strategy. It was decided to form a steering committee of the opposition parties to take up union matters.
“The opposition is united inside the parliament. We are succeeding. Countdown begins so Khan Sahib should be worried,” he said adding that tough time for selected government begins.
The government ran away from the joint meeting it convened by itself, he said, adding the opposition will take decisions together to send home this ‘incompetent and selected’ government. It is a sign of change that ‘Ladla’ was facing the Supreme Court.
Shehbaz Sharif said that the opposition was achieving the goal and the concerted campaign to go on. He said the opposition has ‘achieved great success today,’ it is also important for the opposition to have mutual trust.
The PML-N president said the government even failed to save the people from dengue while it was indifferent to the hardships the people were facing due to it. He said medicines used to treat dengue patients were unavailable.
