President Zardari hosts dinner for parliamentarians
President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari hosted a dinner in honour of members of the parliament at the President House on Monday evening, bringing together key political leaders ahead of the crucial vote on the 27th Constitutional Amendment scheduled for tomorrow.
The event was attended by prominent political figures, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Raja Pervez Ashraf, Shazia Marri, and Sherry Rehman. Senior ministers and parliamentarians such as Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, Azam Nazir Tarar, Atta Tarar, Mosaddiq Malik, and Hanif Abbasi were also present.
During the dinner, participants held detailed discussions on the current security situation in the country and the upcoming National Assembly vote on the 27th Amendment. Sources said the meeting focused on building consensus and ensuring smooth parliamentary proceedings.
