Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) Justice Umar Ata Bandial ordered authorities to present evidence against Azmat Jaffer, mother of accused Zahir Jaffer, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The hearing has been postponed till October 18 after Justice Umar Ata Bandial has to go to attend a family member’s funeral in Lahore.

Justice Qazi Amin remarked Noor Muqaddam case was an unfortunate incident and the court expressed sympathy with the victim’s family. 

Defence lawyer Khawja Harris said that the court’s order to complete the case hearing in two months would affect the transparent trial. 

He said that a murder case was registered against Zahir Jaffer while his parents were in Karachi at the time of the murder. 

Advocate General Islamabad said that all forensic reports results came except six mobile phones.
