Fake officer of PM’s Office arrested, letterheads recovered

Federal Investigation Officer (FIA) Monday arrested a fake section officer of the Prime Minister’s Office for using its letter pad illegally.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the arrested accused has been identified as Mustafa Ansari, Chairman of the National Peace Council for Interfaith.

The accused has been issued permission on the PM’s Office letter pad to the citizens to get official (green) number plates on their vehicles.

The accused has also been involved in collecting money from the people by showing his non-governmental organization official.

The FIA arrested the accused from Sector F-11, Islamabad and recovered a large number of fake letterheads of the Prime Minister's Office from his custody.

According to the FIA officials, the accused had also set up a fake website of the National Peace of Council. He had also registered a political party with the Election Commission in 2015 that was later cancelled in 2017.
