Three persons of the same family were gunned down during an ambush in Dera Ismail Khan on Monday. Police managed to arrest two of the accused, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, members of the same family left their house situated in Zafar Abad Colony in the precincts of DI Khan for mosque as per their routine. But four armed persons were already sitting in ambush to attack them. As soon as they headed to the mosque, the armed men opened fire on them, killing three persons on the spot.

After hearing the news of the incident, police reached the scene. They chased the culprits and managed to arrest two of them. 

Police believe the incident was the result of personal enmity.

The accused belonging to Mehsood tribe are currently residing in village Naivela in Proa tehsil.

After registering a case against the four accused, police shifted the dead bodies to Mufti Mehmood Hospital.
