Special Assistant to Prime Minister Malik Ahmed Khan Tuesday bashed opposition leader Aitzaz Ahsan for his recent statement, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

While talking to the media in the federal capital, Malik Ahmed Khan said that they have a right to retaliate when facts about them are twisted. 

He said that the Sharif Family has always obeyed the rules and the law. The statement given by Aitzaz Ahsan showed his hatred for the family and also mocked the judicial system of Pakistan. He also said that the whole national power was used against the Sharif Family in former PM Imran Khan’s era and they acquired relief following the legitimate and legal procedure.

He questioned Aitzaz Ahsan’s allegations about freeing Nawaz Sharif on the recommendation of a General. “How can you accuse them of something like this without any proof?” He also demanded that opposition leader brings proof of his statement in the court and also requested that Islamabad High Court takes notice of his statements.

While justifying, he said that Maryam Nawaz appeared for 96 hearings in the court and was acquitted on Merit. She even left her dying mother on the death bed and went to jail.

Thrashing Ahsan, he said that if the decision comes in your favor then it is all ok but whenever it comes against you, you start saying things about the judiciary. If you have even the slightest of sense for abiding the law, you can appeal against the decisions in the court. 

In the end, he also said that Aitzaz Ahsan wanted to contest from Lahore on the ticket of PMLN in the reign of Musharraf. Why did Aitzaz not say anything when Imran Khan was oppressing the opposition leaders? He has been showing his malice in almost every reign but has crossed limits today. All the political word calling aside but we will not keep quiet on when falsely accused.
