Bilawal Bhutto to reach Lahore on Monday

Former foreign minister and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will reach Lahore next Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Sources told 24News that Bilawal, during his stay in the Punjab capital, would announce some important changes in the organizational structure of the party.   

They added that the PPP Punjab president seat had been lying vacant ever since Raja Pervez Ashraf became the National Assembly speaker, and that presently Rana Farooq Saeed was working as the party’s acting president.

Sources told 24News that the PPP chairman besides taking former president Asif Ali Zardari on board would also take the party leadership in Punjab into confidence before making the appointment for the post.

They divulged that Nadeem Afzal Chan and Syed Hassan Murtaza were strong contenders for the position.
