Two terrorists killed in KP
The security forces killed two terrorists in two separate operations in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, ISPR said on Tuesday.
According to the military media wing, the security persons purged out the terrorists on the night between October 9 and 10.
An intelligence-based operation was conducted in the Kulachi area of the Dera Ismail Khan district where terrorist Ikram was killed after an intense exchange of fire, the ISPR said.
The dead remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces including the attacks on a police station and a checkpost, it added.
In another encounter in the Miran Shah area of the North Waziristan district, security personnel killed one more terrorist, the ISPR said, adding that the troops also recovered arms and ammunition in the operation. The locals lauded the security forces for carrying out successful anti-terror combat.
