Motorcyclists open fire at Gogi Butt’s old residence in Gawalmandi Lahore
Panic spread in Lahore neighbourhood on Saturday after two unidentified motorcyclists opened fire near the old residence of Gogi Butt in Gawalmandi areas of Lahore. However, no casualty or injury was reported in the incident.
According to police, the suspects arrived on motorcycles and opened fire near the house and escaped from the scene. The sudden gunfire caused fear among residents, who immediately informed the police.
A police team reached the site shortly after receiving the report and began collecting evidence from the area. Officials confirmed that an investigation into the firing incident has begun, and nearby CCTV footage is being reviewed to trace the attackers.
Authorities have cordoned off the area and recorded initial statements from eyewitnesses. Police say they are working to determine whether the incident was an intimidation attempt or a targeted attack.
Law enforcement officials reassured the public that no one was injured during the shooting.
In camera footage, the armed man can be seen holding a Kalashnikov. The police have seized the shell casings from the firing by unknown persons. No one is allowed to take the law into their own hands. The accused will be arrested soon with the help of CCTV cameras.
