Nimra Mehra has publicly spoken out against her management company and music label, Beyond Records, accusing it of exploiting her work and mishandling her music rights.

In a video message shared on her Instagram handle, the rising star made a series of allegations, claiming that the company profited from her songs, sold her rights to another firm without her consent, and tarnished her artistic image.

“I’ve been wanting to let this out for a while now. I guess now is the time,” she wrote in her caption.

She added, “I need prayers and support from my fans and the music industry!”

Her statement quickly gained attention, sparking conversations online about artists’ rights and fair treatment in Pakistan’s music industry.

Many fans and fellow musicians have expressed solidarity with her, calling for greater transparency and accountability from record labels.

Nimra Mehra has earned recognition for her soulful voice and emotionally charged lyrics. She was featured as Spotify’s Equal Pakistan Ambassador for February 2024 after the success of her breakout song ‘Je Pata Hunda’.

Her other notable track, ‘Tu Subha Di Pak Hawa Warga,’ established her reputation as one of the most promising young voices in the music scene.

Nimra revealed in an earlier interview that she adopted Mehra as a stage name to distinguish herself from other singers with similar names.
