The prosecution, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), has dented PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s attempt to secure bail from the Official Secrets Act special court in cipher case, on technical grounds, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

During proceedings on Monday, the FIA prosecution team raised objection to the former prime minister’s bail plea arguing that it was maintainable as Imran Khan had not attached certificate containing details of his bail pleas. The FIA moved its application in the court, praying it to declare PTI chief’s plea not fit for hearing.

The prosecution insisted that in accordance with a Supreme Court ruling attaching of certificate had been made mandatory.

Court seeks report on Imran Khan’s phone talk with sons

Judge Abual Hasnat Zulfarnain summoned the report by September 15

Hearing PTI chief’s contempt of court plea against Attock Jail Superintendent on Monday, the judge ordered the authorities to implement the court order no matter what.
