OGRA increases LNG prices by 2.63 percent for September

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced an increase in liquefied natural gas (LNG) prices for September, notifying 2.63 percent hike across different gas systems in Pakistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the notification, the price of LNG has been revised for both the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) systems. 

LNG prices on the SSGC system have been increased by $0.28 per MMBTU, setting the new rate at $11.01 per MMBTU.

Meanwhile, on the SNGPL system, the price of LNG has risen by $0.28 per MMBTU, with the revised rate fixed at $12.01 per MMBTU. The revision comes as part of OGRA’s monthly price adjustment mechanism, as they had increased LNG prices by 1.46% in the previous month of August.
