Man dies, over 80 affected after ammonia gas leak in Hafizabad

One person died while over 80 others, including women and children, were affected after leakage of ammonia gas from a cylinder at a scraps shop near Gujranwala service station in Hafizabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
After learning about the incident, Rescue 1122 personnel reached the shop and shifted those injured to district headquarters hospital.
They later also disposed of the cylinder, which could have led to a major disaster in the city.
