A Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader from Kabirwala, Khawar Shah, allegedly kidnapped a teen girl from Imran Khan's procession.

Lahore police registered a case but the PTI leader denied to return the kidnapped girl to her poor mother, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Wednesday.

A girl named Munazza Bibi reached Zaman Park to join PTI Chairman Imran Khan's rally three months ago.

The kidnapped girl's mother said Munazza is 17 years old and a college girl.

During the PTI rally, a party leader from Kabirwala, Khawar Shah, took Munazza with him in a car to his 'Dera' (political office) in Kabirwala, the mother said.

She added Khawar Shah made a phone call to her to take her daughter back from Kabirwala.

When she reached there with the police team, Khawar Shah changed his mind and did not hand over the girl to her.

The victim said she is a resident of Pindi Stop, Mochi Pura Lahore and the FIR has been registered too.

Khawar Shah is stated to be a close aide of Fakhar Imam.
