Islamabad Police sub-inspector dies of cardiac arrest during duty

 A sub-inspector of the Islamabad police died of a cardiac arrest while on duty on Sunday, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday. 

According to officials, the officer, identified as Mukhtar Ahmed, was deployed on special duty at Serena Hotel in Islamabad when he suffered a sudden heart attack.

His colleagues at the scene responded immediately, and the officer was shifted to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Senior officers have been formally notified of the incident.
