Court extends judicial remand of PTI leaders by 14 days

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore on Saturday extended judicial remand of diehard PTI workers, including Khadija Shah, Sanam Javed, Tayyaba Raja and Afshan Tariq, in Jinnah House vandalism case by another 14 days, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The court ordered the police to produce all these suspects on August 26.

ATC judge Ijaz Ahmad Buttar heard the bail petitions.

The investigation officer (IO) requested the court to extend judicial remand of PTI’s female workers, saying the case’s challan was being prepared; therefore time was required to complete it.

A case had been registered against these workers at Lahore’s Sarwar Road police station

Ejaz Ch’s judicial remand extended

Meanwhile, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore extended the judicial remand of PTI leader Ejaz Ahmad Chaudhary in two cases of torching Shadman police station and police vans on May 9 by another 14 days.

The court ordered the police to produce the suspect on August 26.
