Couple arrested for committing robberies in Lahore’s posh areas

The police in Lahore arrested a couple who were involved in robberies while working as domestic workers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

A spokesman of the Naseerabad police said that the woman was working as a domestic worker in a house located at Askari-5 in Gulberg. 

The owners of the house fired her from work after some valuable items and currency were found missing from the house.

The spokesman further revealed that the woman was using a duplicate key, which she got without the homeowner's permission, to commit robbery in the house.

The police arrested the couple with the help of latest technology and traced them through phone location.

Both husband and wife had escaped after the owner was not at home. The couple has been residing in Lahore for the last one year. Both are residents of Kasur.
