Machine Gun Kelly isn’t here for the gossip. The rapper-turned-actor, 35, gave a short but dramatic answer when asked about his rumoured romance with Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live.
Earlier this year, the pair sparked speculation after being spotted getting close at the star-studded opening of the Palm Tree Beach Club at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
The sighting came just months after MGK’s split from Megan Fox.
On the Bravo talk show, host Andy Cohen, 57, read out a question from viewer “Kyle P.,” asking if there was any truth to reports that MGK and Sydney, 27, were “more than just friends.”
Without hesitation, MGK smirked and replied: “Kyle P., shut up dude.”
The blunt comeback drew laughter from the audience and instantly went viral among fans.
The duo’s connection dates back to 2021, when they starred together in Downfalls High, a film MGK also directed. But their cozy Las Vegas interaction in May raised eyebrows, with witnesses claiming they looked “extra chummy” and even shared a warm embrace.
Adding fuel to the rumours, both stars appeared in each other’s social media posts from the event. MGK even included Sydney in a goofy group selfie alongside Patrick Schwarzenegger and hairstylist Glen Oropeza, captioning the post: “stop what you’re doing, these pictures are v important.”
Sydney, who recently split from fiancé Jonathan Davino earlier this year, has kept quiet about the speculation. Meanwhile, MGK has been navigating his own highly publicized breakup with Megan Fox, with whom he shares a newborn son.
