Gwadar police arrest 14 Pakistanis for illegal entry from Iran
Police in Gwadar have arrested 14 Pakistani nationals for allegedly entering the country illegally from Iran through a sea route, police sources said.
The arrested individuals belong to Hafizabad, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Gujrat and Kurram, according to the sources.
Police said the suspects were taken into custody during an operation carried out on the instructions of DIG Makran Imran Qureshi and SSP Gwadar Atta-ur-Rehman Khan.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of SHO Gwadar Bashir Ahmed.
The arrested individuals were later handed over to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for further legal action.
SHO Bashir Ahmed said operations against illegal cross-border movement had been intensified in the area.
