Lt-Gen Afzal retires from Army, quits NDMA

National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Chairman Lt-Gen Muhammad Afzal has quit the Authority and also retired from the Army, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Lt-Gen Muhammad Afzal had served the Army for 38 years. He termed the institution as a source of honour for him. He spent the last day of his service with jawans at Gujranwala Garrison.
