West Indies have to face a huge setback in their visit to Pakistan as three of its players have been ruled out of the T20 and ODI series against Pakistan after their Covid-19 tests returned positive.

According to 24NewsHd TV channel, Roston Chase, Sheldon Cottrell and Kyle Mayers who were tested corona positive are now out of the series against Pakistan and have been sent to isolation.

The test of one non-coaching member of West Indies management also came positive. The COVID-19 tests of the players were taken on the team’s arrival in Pakistan

It is pertinent to mention that both the teams will be playing ODIs for the first time in Pakistani soil since 2006.

However, it was in April 2018 when three T20Is were last contested between the two giants of the format in Pakistan.
