Details of legal and illegal housing schemes in Islamabad were presented in the National Assembly, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

According to the Interior ministry, the number of approved housing schemes in Islamabad is 47 while the number of illegal housing schemes in Islamabad is 109.

Zone-4 has the highest number of illegal housing schemes which is 77, while there are five illegal housing schemes in Zone-2 and 27 in Zone-5 the toll of legal housing schemes is 23. 

The date of launch of illegal housing schemes and names of sponsors were unavailable.
