Goods transporters end strike on Punjab govt’s assurance

Goods transporters have announced end of strike after reach an agreement with Punjab government, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

All Pakistan Goods Transporters Association President Nabeel Mahmood Tariq and Pakistan Goods Transport Alliance Central President Haji Sher Ali stated this while addressing a press conference in Lahore on Friday night.

Chairman Pakistan Goods Transport Alliance Riaz Tajik said he met Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb and she announced a meeting on Saturday to review transporters demands.

Riaz Tajik urged all transporters to bring vehicles on the road and end the strike. He said that now transporter will face only one challan in a single day.

Haji Sher Ali said CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz and Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb will resolve the issues tomorrow at 10 am, He said transporters problems will be resolved tomorrow.
