There was no headway in PTI government’s mission to bring back former three-time prime minister and PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif from London, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday, quoting its sources.

The statements of the federal ministers to bring back Nawaz were appeared to be hollow claims as the government could not arrive at a conclusion on how to proceed on the issue.

According to the sources, the attorney general of Pakistan is busy in finding any legal loophole in the medical reports of Nawaz Sharif.

There is no possibility for the federal government to get relief from the high court if Nawaz Sharif’s medical reports are submitted.

The attorney general’s office is still examining the written guarantee of Shehbaz Sharif, the sources said, adding there was also no excuse not to file Nawaz Sharif’s medical reports in the high court.

According to the sources in the attorney general’s office, Nawaz Sharif’s medical reports can also not be declared.
